UNDERNEATH TH E MOSS
An ear, earth, the living moss, a well, ashes, salt, outside and inside. I explore procedures of caring and states of aliveness. My pursuit to understand how we connect to nature,
the people we love, and the things we hold dear, aims for a sense of
empathy in understanding our existence.
By exploring the symbolic meaning of the ear and the transformative power of the moss, I create space where we may spray the moss, touch the “hou-vast”, kneel down and make ourselves small to witness growth.
